Yugoslavia Airlines, also known as JAT Airways, was the national airline of Yugoslavia. It was founded in 1947 and operated until 2013 when it was rebranded as Air Serbia. Yugoslavia Airlines had its headquarters in Belgrade and operated flights to various destinations in Europe, Middle East, and North Africa. Its fleet primarily consisted of Boeing and Airbus aircraft. The airline faced financial difficulties in the 1990s due to the political instability of the Yugoslav Wars. It was partially privatized in 2003 but continued to operate under the JAT Airways brand until its rebranding in 2013.
